Строительство Форта было завершено в 1552 году императором Карлом V.
В наше время Замок используется в качестве места для проведения крупных культурных мероприятий, таких как художественные, фото- и киновыставки.
Свадебные церемонии проводятся в одном из четырех залов или во внутреннем дворе.
